Ayer Keroh is filled with tourist attractions, including the Taman Mini Malaysia & ASEAN, Melaka Zoo and more; however, the Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary remains one amongst its most popular attractions.
The complex is prepared opposite Melaka Zoo, the second largest zoo within the country, and nearby the Ayer Keroh Recreational Forest. The park also incorporates a forestry museum and paved jungle trails and a tract. Reptiles are placed within cages to substantiate visitors’ safety. From Malacca town, you will be ready to get to Ayer Keroh either by bus or taxi
This Butterfly & reptile Sanctuary was opened in 1991. Here they have been split into five parts. There are:
● Koi River Valley
● Butterfly Garden
● Reptile Aviary
● Wild Photo Lane
● Nature’s Art Centre.
At Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary we are able to explore a group of animals like snakes, beautiful butterflies, lizards, crocodiles, koi fish, and also a pair of golden leopards.
Start point you'll practice Butterfly Garden. there we are able to see 100 butterflies just fly freely. Here they have quite 20 butterfly species.
Next, you'll undergo an attractive landscape pond with colorful fish. Wild Photo Lane is one amongst the famous sections here because you'll take close and private shots with the Burmese python, red-tailed boa, giant green iguana, and more. So those that wish to take pictures have an opportunity to urge an attractive picture with these animals.
The final spot you reach is Reptile Aviary where you'll find snakes like boas, pythons, vipers, and cobras.
