HOMECOOKED FOOD: SAMBAL TUMIS NUGGET

Good day everyone. Today I’m back with new recipe. This is fusion of local and western delicacy. It is “Sambal tumis nugget”. It is kind of spicy food best served with hot rice.

1.Firstly fry the nugget and anchovies separately and put aside. You may choose any brand for nuggets but make sure it is halal and for the anchovies you can try with Pangkor’s one.


2. Next, soak the dry chilies in hot water for 10 minutes and grind with 3 red onions and few cloves of garlic to paste.


3. Add the used oil on wok let it be in ready to cook stage.


4. Add the chili paste and cook in a slow fire to avoid having burnt flavor.


5. Now you can add a pinch of salt and 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder.


6. You even can add a teaspoon of sugar to get the taste and color.


7.  Add tamarind juice little bit and mix it well in slow fire.



8. After few minutes add the nuggets and followed by the fried anchovies as garnishing. Then it is done to serve. Good luck and enjoy with your family !
