Chinese is one of the major races in Malaysia and have a unique culture that has already become a norm in the country culture. Not to mention that this culture have many unique trait that attract many people no matter the background and so on. Thus, it is such a waste if we didn’t try to understand or even know about this culture in the first place.
China is influenced and has strong tied with Confucianism. Confucianism belief places a heavy emphasis on the importance respect toward rulers, family, and social harmony. It's a national philosophy but also act as religious system of beliefs at the time. Until now, Confucian beliefs are still ingrained in mainstream ethics and religion on their culture root.
They put a great emphasis on family. Chinese people place great importance on family, and family structure. Marriage, family, and children are all extremely important, and most of the families' lives revolve solely around the youngest children. When it is time to celebration, all family members shall gather and celebrate together as a family should do.
Calligraphy itself is a revered and much-practiced traditional art form. It help to led the development of many other Chinese art forms and influence it nonetheless. For examples, seal carvings, ornate paperweights, ink stones and many more. Calligraphy in Chinese culture has many different categories due to the influence of the time and dynasty at the time.
Traditional celebration and the cultures. Traditional festivals lie somewhat centrally to Chinese culture and each are related with each other’s. The usually festivals being celebrated in Malaysia is Spring Festival (also known as Chinese New Year). Thus celebration is famously celebrated all around the country with its red theme color.
Tea and Chinese culture. Tea is the national beverage inside Chinese culture daily life. It is belief that in traditional Chinese tea culture the way you drink tea, and which tea you drink, can show your social status. Today, they still have a pot of tea when visitors come around as it is the typical way of welcoming the visitors.
Conclusion, everything about its culture is very interesting and unique in the eye of others culture. Many things we can learn from this experience and getting to know about its people. Foremost, this knowledge shall make us understanding Chinese people better.
