GASING, MALAY TRADITIONAL GAME

Gasing is a traditional game that been played by Malay inside their culture ever since. It is a game that that make the gasing spinning on its axis while trying to maintain its balance on the rotation.  It usually become a tournament among the villages to show their skill and been held after the harvest seasons.

Player shall wrap around the gasing using its own rope in order to play it. The rope must be wrapping tightly until it reach a suitable length for your finger to grasp the gasing with comfort and. Don’t forget to fill the rope hole by putting your middle finger through it. Once you position the gasing among your remaining finger with the appropriate pose, throw it to the ground while you pull the rope as your heart contain.

The count will be by how long the gasing keeps spinning and the longest one winning the tournament. This is the common setting being used during tournament. There also some tournament they play by clash with one another or impale others during the throw. But these are more toward among those who are having high skill and better gasing in their arsenal.

Conclusion, gasing is an interesting game once you get to hang on it. In fact, it’s become more interesting once you grasp the better skill while handling harder one.
