INDIAN CLAYPOT RICE – WITH PRAWN

A wholesome amount of rice well mixed with spicy and tangy Indian curry. That is how I will describe this item. The quantity of curry should balance with the white rice, then, only can guarantee delicious food. Without talking much let’s go to the recipe.
Spicy Prawn Sattisorru ( Claypot Spicy Prawn)

Ingredients
1kg tiger prawns
2 onions,
Curry leaves,
Dried chillies,
1 tomato (Optional can use chilli padis)
2tbsp of chilli powder
 2tbsp of meat powder
 2tbsp of fish powder,
1tbsp of garam powder
1tbsp of tumeric powder,
1tbsp of cummin Powder
1tbsp of fennel powder &
2tbsp of chilli Sambal paste. (Optional if you want to reduce the spices).
2tbsp of ginger & Garlic paste
Corriander leaves
Cooked rice (can use 2 to 3 cup)




Steps
1. Add Oil, 2 onions, curry Leaves, dried chillies,1 tomato (Optional can use chili padi) sauté till light brown.

2. Add ginger & garlic paste and all spice powder in and sauté well. Add 1 small cup of water


3.Let the spices to cook. 


4. Add in the prawns and sauté well in slow fire. 


5. Add in the cooked rice and sauté it well. 


6. Add the coriander leaves in and mix it evenly.


7. Spicy Prawn Sattisorru is ready.


Serve while it is hot. You even can add boiled egg if you wish. I would like to thank Miss. Suha for preparing this item. This has been in my bucket list for quite long due to MCO I could not cook since fresh prawn supply was suspended. So, guys what are you waiting for? Go and cook for yourself.
