Tom Cruise is a famous actor and producer in Hollywood industry. Many not know that ‘Cruise’ is his middle name. His true name is Thomas Cruise Mapother IV. He is born in July 6, 1962 at Syracuse, New York, United State. He began to acting in early 1980’s and still active until now which known at the age of 58 years old.
Firstly, Disney created a certain famous character after him. Have you ever spotted a slight similarity between Tom Cruise and Aladdin from the Disney film? If you try to look carefully at the Aladdin model you can find the similarity between them. This is because the designer at Disney actually using unique traits from Cruise's such as face and hair as the base for the character feature.
Secondary, Cruise could have become as Iron Man. Many didn’t notice about this part but before Tony Stark was cast by Robert Downey Jr, the part was first offered to Cruise. Tom Cruise actually the first candidate for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to portray as the Iron Man initially. Unfortunately, Cruise decides to decline the role and mention that Robert Downey Jr is more suitable to become Tony Stark as he is.
Thirdly, He started interesting in acting due to an injury. Cruise like to wrestling during his high school year and almost every day doing the routine of it. Unfortunately for Cruise, he has an accident during the session thus causing him having knee injury. This left him unable to wrestling anymore, which sent him search for alternative way to spend his time until it inevitably lead him for audition the school's production of Guys and Dolls.
After that, He has a thing for tall woman. Tom Cruise at only 5-foot-7-inches tall is shorter than just about every woman he has ever date in his all life. Thus hence on, Cruise is known as celeb that dated much taller woman. Another fun fact to mention, Nicole Kidman once asked what she looked forward to once her marriage with Cruise over, thus she replied with confident maybe sarcastic, "Wearing high heels again."
Next, He didn’t know to read until he become an adult. "When I'd go to a new school, I wouldn't want the other kids to know about my learning disability, but then I'd be sent off to remedial reading" said Cruise. He claims that he could barely read when he in his younger age due to a unique case of dyslexia. It is in the late '80s, that he starts to learn how to read the moment he enter Church of Scientology.
After that, He initially didn't want to become an actor but priest. Cruise was raised inside a devout Catholic family. Moreover, his first aspiration for the career was to be a priest during his age of 14. Cruise during his time as a young man, he was a devoted Catholic follower and always attended the Catholic seminary. This is the proof of he was on track to become a priest and that is until he got kicked out for stealing alcohol.
Conclusion, Tom Cruise is a very interesting person no matter from the perspective of his characteristic or career. Thus all these fact will make us knowing Cruise a little better than before. After all, all these fact is what make Tom Cruise the person he is known for now and help us become closer to him by knowing all these fact.
